ABOUT
Julie Ann Scott is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She has experience in treating many types of issues including: depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, trauma, emotional and behavior problems, substance abuse, and grief. In addition to working in private practice, she has experience working in a psychiatric hospital where she assisted people in crisis. She provides individual and family therapy for children, adolescents and adults. She has worked with children as young as 2 years old, and greatly enjoys play therapy. She facilitates classes at CCOEA which teach parents how to utilize play therapy in order to build a strong healthy relationship with their children.

- 1995 – Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, minor in sociology from University of Texas at El Paso, El Paso, Texas
- 1997 – Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas
