Luis has extensive training in art therapy and continues to explore new avenues of self-knowledge that the expressive arts have to offer. Luis believes that creativity in human beings is healing and engages his clients in the use of art as a means of achieving personal growth.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- Masters of Art in Art Therapy from the Adler School of Professional Psychology (now Adler University) in Chicago Illinois
- Client centered approach to play therapy through CCOEA Counselor Development Institute
- Adlerian theoretical orientation.
- Currently pursuing credentialing for Play Therapy with the national professional society of the Association of Play Therapy (APT).
